GPH 3601 Principles of Global Public Health: Costa Rica
This course examines disease trends that transcend national boundaries, while applying a multidisciplinary lens to emerging health issues. Included are topics on infectious and chronic disease, prevention and control efforts, demography, and data measurement. Students learn through real-life examples in the field in Costa Rica, interacting with live data, members of the community, and the local environment. This course is open to students from other disciplines.
