CMS 4001 Research Methods

An introduction to communication research methods with an emphasis on constructing a clear argument, this course provides students with an understanding of the relationship between theory, data collection and analysis. This primary understanding serves as the foundation for assessing and criticizing communication research methodologies. Students will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to perform research appropriately in an academic or organizational context.
