Areas include Europe, Asia, Latin America, US and Middle East/North Africa. Themes include gender, class and race. Students must take a minimum of one research designated course, as identified in catalog course descriptions.

Public History Concentration
Understanding history is not enough for those who wish to further understand Public History. History often "lives" in public spaces, whether that be a local landmark, national park, or the internet. At Dominican University, the History major with a concentration in Public History prepares students for careers, graduate work, and provides a depth of understanding in the best practices and methods of this growing field.
