HUM 5811 Modern China
This seminar incorporates the study of Modern Chinese literature with the study of Modern Chinese history via an interdisciplinary dialogue. Since neither literature nor history forms outside of the influence of the other, this course aims to break down disciplinary barriers for a more nuanced and comprehensive understanding of Modern China.
