HUM 5509 Social Justice, Privilege and Oppression

This course will examine how the philosophical constructions of difference are created to justify both privilege and oppression. In particular it will focus on current manifestations of racism, sexism, classism and how they are experienced by different groups of people. It will also explore various thoeries of social justice.
